The CH-1 is designed to help in two ways. First, you can use the capacitance hat with a whip as short as 30" and get the same frequency coverage as the 6' whip without sacrificing performance. Second, you can add the 6' whip to the top of the capacitance hat and get a big improvement in performance on the lower bands. The base of the capacitance hat is 12" tall with standard 3/8 x 24 thread at both ends, It uses 8 stainless steel rods 12" long each at 90 degrees to the antenna for maximum capacitance with less weight.
Note: Not recommended for use with Little Tarheel HP, Little Tarheel II or Baby Tarheel

Automatic Motorized Antenna Controller
TuneMatic is a self-contained antenna controller which will automatically adjust the resonant frequency of a screwdriver/motorized antenna. TuneMatic operates over a range of 1-60 MHz, and supports a wide variety of screwdriver-type tunable antennas. TuneMatic utilizes frequency measurement, SWR detection and pulse position measurements of the antenna to perform the proper tuning, and keeps track of the parameters of the antenna by storing the tuning data in a series of internal reserved memory banks, based on frequency and bandwidth. The TuneMatic is independent of rig make and model and will typically support any HF rig with a PTT control line. TuneMatic is supplied with a detachable wired button panel, which contains all the functions necessary to operate TuneMatic from the driver’s seat.

This is a Stainless Steel Radial Plate designed to be mounted on the same one inch post that you would use to ground mount our antenna. The Plate is 9 inches in diameter and has 20 points to connect radials. The Radial Plate comes with ten 9 foot radials. The radials lay out does not need to be in a perfect spoke pattern or have to be straight (see below), the lay out can be in any pattern (to work in your mounting location) although the radials should not cross each other. The radial plate should be mounted as close to the ground as possible and your antenna should be mounted as close as possible to the radial plate. When used with the M100A HP or the M40A HP the matching coil is not used.
